Boxy Federation ships are rare, but I think they are an interesting utilitarian deviation from the usual.
I feel like the G would have worked better with a thicker tapered neck like the D. Makes more sense in-canon too, since the neck weak points have been slowly disappearing over the years (bad photoshop by me)
