My mom at 21, late 80s in Yugoslavia. According to my aunt, she had a phase where she’d swim almost exclusively with her clothes on, shoes and all. She was considered weird, but funny enough, it’s how she met my dad – he saved her from drowning when she tried to swim in an absurdly large dress.
